It has recently been revealed that mobile phones near the Swiss borders connect to the mobile networks of neighboring countries without users' knowledge. This issue has become a serious problem, especially in areas with unclear borders, raising concerns about user privacy.
Why is this issue important?
Users may unintentionally connect to the mobile networks of other countries, and since the costs of this connection are usually high, it can lead to significant expenses for them. Additionally, this situation could lead to security threats as users' information may inadvertently become accessible to foreign operators.
This problem has recently been raised among smartphone users in border areas of Switzerland, and it seems that further investigations are needed in this regard. Given that the internet and telephone communications have become an integral part of our daily lives, this issue must be taken seriously.
