In a unique event in Ouding, Teresa Witzig, a 27-year-old hairdresser from Singelding, was selected as the Autumn Festival Girl of Ouding 2026 on Saturday. Competing against five other rivals, she managed to impress the judges with her remarkable speed in pouring Hell and White Beer.
Victory with a Family Symbol
In this competition, Teresa used a picture of her late grandfather as a symbol of good luck in his memory. This act not only demonstrated her love and respect for her family but also created an emotional and uplifting story behind this victory. In an interview, she stated that she dedicates this victory to her grandfather and takes pride in him.
