In a controversial incident in the state of Amansland, a 41-year-old driver with an astonishing blood alcohol level of 4.72 permille fled after an accident. This man, who was attempting to overtake a truck with a dangerous maneuver, collided with other moving vehicles and continued on his way instead of stopping.
Police in Pursuit
After the driver fled, the police immediately began searching for him and soon succeeded in locating him. A breathalyzer test revealed that he was driving with a high level of alcohol. As a result, the police not only took a blood sample but also confiscated his driver's license. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident, and only property damage estimated at approximately 17,000 euros was left behind.
Police investigations are ongoing, and this incident serves as a reminder for drivers to pay attention to the dangers of alcohol consumption and reckless driving.
