On Sunday, during the Scott triathlon event in Tegernsee, the main street from Stachus was completely blocked for several hours. This blockage caused problems not only for the participants in the race but also for local residents, especially churchgoers.
Ban on Passage for Priests
According to witnesses, police forces prevented even priests and worshippers from reaching the church, leading to dissatisfaction and confusion among many people. This action took place while churches typically welcome many worshippers on holidays, and such barriers can have social and cultural repercussions.
