Why is Golf in Germany in Crisis?
This failure occurred despite high hopes for the success of local golfers. Weather conditions and a highly competitive environment prevented German athletes from delivering optimal performances. It seems that a lack of sufficient experience under high-pressure situations has been the main factor behind these defeats.
Currently, the question arises whether Germany has the capability to establish a new generation of international golfers. Given the recent failures, there is a strong need to reassess training and support programs for youth in this sport.
