On an ordinary night, a 54-year-old driver with a suspicious demeanor on the A20 highway broke all the rules and became a serious danger to others. This driver was dangerously swerving across the highway lanes at a speed between 60 and 80 kilometers per hour.
Police acting on public reports
Reports received from other drivers about this individual prompted the police to take action. After stopping the vehicle, a breathalyzer test revealed that the driver was in a very dangerous condition, with a blood alcohol level of 1.87 permille. This amount clearly indicated his inability to control the vehicle and the dangers he posed to himself and others.
The police also decided to take a blood sample from this driver and confiscated his license. Now this man faces serious charges for driving under the influence of alcohol, and it is unclear what consequences await him.
