The Waldhof Mannheim football team has officially entered the preparation stages for the new season and is seeking transformation and success under its new coach, Rony Motta. Meanwhile, with the departure of seven key players, the team's composition has undergone significant changes.
Start of Training and Recruitment of New Players
In the first training session, which was attended by around 200 fans, new players such as Claudio Camarques, Noah Sarenren-Bazee, and Julian Albrecht trained with the team for the first time. However, according to the sports director, the team's planning is not yet complete, and the recruitment of new players remains a priority.
After acquiring center-back Maurice Platt from the regional Bundesliga team BFC Dynamo, the sports director has stated that there is a need for reinforcement in all positions. Zuber, the sports director, confidently spoke about the current state of the team: “We are now in a good position and have become a cohesive and strong team.”
Goals for the New Season
Last season, Waldhof finished in ninth place, and now the team is looking to improve its performance with a new approach under Motta. Zuber has set a goal for the team to achieve better results this season and to navigate the upcoming challenges effectively.
