New Dog Ownership Law: Dog Ownership License Becomes Mandatory from July!

From now on, keeping a dog in this state will require completing theoretical and practical courses. Non-compliance with this law can result in a heavy fine of up to 50,000 euros.

Starting next July, a controversial law will come into effect in one of the German states that will affect the lives of dog owners. According to this law, anyone who decides to keep a dog will be required to complete theoretical and practical training courses and obtain a valid license.

Heavy Fines for Negligence

This law has been enacted due to the increase in issues related to dog behavior and the responsibilities of their owners. Failure to comply with this law will result in fines of up to 50,000 euros for offenders. This measure aims not only to enhance public safety but also to improve the relationship between dogs and their owners.
