A new study has shown that drivers in Nielsen-Dorf face higher costs when refueling at highway gas stations. This research indicates that by simply moving away from the nearest exit, one can save up to 17 euros on each refueling.
Details of Prices in Nielsen-Dorf
According to reports, the average price for a liter of super gasoline E10 at highway pumps is 2.45 euros, and for diesel, it is 2.64 euros. In contrast, prices at regular pumps near the highway are 2.11 euros and 2.29 euros, respectively. Thus, distancing from the highway can mean reduced fuel costs for drivers.
Why Do Some Still Stay on Highways?
Despite these price differences, about 25 percent of drivers still refrain from leaving the highway for refueling. Meanwhile, 63 percent of them have stated that they would be willing to move away if they noticed a price difference of up to 20 cents.
This study, conducted between April 6 and 19, reflects significant differences in fuel prices across various regions of the country. It seems that drivers, despite being aware of these differences, still adhere to their old habits.
