In response to the rising temperatures and unbearable heat in Dako, a city council member has proposed the installation of water spray systems. This plan, which can be seen in Poland, aims to reduce temperatures and improve conditions for citizens.
Confronting the Water Crisis
However, this proposal has met with opposition from Mayor Florian Hartmann. He believes that groundwater should be used solely for drinking and essential needs and should not be spent on this plan at all. This issue has turned into a heated debate: can the need for water for cooling truly be balanced with the need for drinking water?
It seems that these two viewpoints are at odds, one seeking comfort and well-being for citizens and the other aiming to protect water resources. While some citizens are in favor of implementing this plan, others are concerned about its consequences on the city's water resources.
