In the "Luchamer Schlag" area of Grafelfing, one of the rarest species of wild orchids, namely buffalo seeds, grows naturally. This rare and protected plant is located in the path of the development of the company "Chromsystems" and therefore needs to be relocated.
Relocation Challenges
The decision to relocate this rare plant is by no means easy. Experts are trying to find a suitable location for these valuable orchids, but this process has its own complexities. Relocating a rare species naturally while maintaining its environmental health is considered a challenging issue.
However, a suitable land for relocating this plant has finally been found. In the meantime, questions have arisen about priorities and environmental and economic values in society. Should economic interests be preferred over nature conservation? This question remains unanswered.
